This 2018 article and accompanying video clip from Michigan News features third-year University of Michigan medical student Molly Fausone. Fausone, who is paralyzed from the chest down, describes the process of assisting in the development of digital imaging technology that enables her to complete a comprehensive patient examinaiton with limited mobility. The inclusive development process described by Fausone and her collaborator David Lorch demonstrates the potential to not only increase access to medical practice, but also improve efficiency and create new opportunities for all practitioners.
